CVUSC along with various soccer partners offers player, coach, and referee development programs through out the year. Listed here are samples of programs typically offered in a given year. Program delivery varies from year to year because of available resources and requirements. A listing of current programs available in the club can be found by clicking the clinics button to the left.

March Break Youth Soccer Camp
19 Wing Comox Youth Services & Shel Brodsgaard
March 17 – 20, 2009 Time 9:30am– 3:30pm each day
The fee for the camp is $150.00 + GST for members of the 19 Wing Comox Youth Centre, and $175.00 + GST for non members. Fees include instruction from Shel and his team, swimming, access to great facilities, prizes, snacks, and a camp T-shirt. Open to kids 11-16 years old

DDC - "Tactical Development" clinic
The Clinic 8 week is directed towards the U14-U16 player in developing zonal defending, midfield transition, and attacking third tactical skills required at advanced levels of soccer. 90 minute training session involving small sided games which you can then apply in 11 aside games.
Note: This clinic is for Select level players and requires a high standard of individual technical skills to make it effective for all.

19 Wing Comox Youth Summer Soccer Camp with

We will be hosting a camp for youth 11 - 16 years of age at the 19 Wing Comox Fitness, Sports, and Recreation Centre from 14 - 17 July 2009 from 9:30am - 3:30pm.

Newcomer Coaches Clinic
Skills Session 0900-1200 and
Understanding the game 1300-1500
Aug 29th, 09 at Valley View Fields.
These sessions are a must for any first time coach. Its all about fun games to play/coach with the kids, soccer skills basics, child development, and basically how to run a practise. The second 2 hours in the afternoon is dedicated on how to position kids on the field, how corner kicks work, what's the goal area- a fundamentals approach on how to play the game for the U6 to U10 players.

U-11 Boys and Girls Academy program
10 sessions 5:30 to 7:00pm Monday nights

U12-U14 Individual Attacking Skills" clinic
Ash will also coordinate this Friday clinic, directed towards the Select player interested in perfecting individual and combination attacking play and "finishing". The clinic Fridays 5:30 to 7:00 starts 4 Sept and runs through to 30 Oct (inclusive). More information on the clinic will be posted on the DDC website shortly. Both programs were very popular last fall. We expect the registration to reach its player maximum very quickly. Registration forms will be emailed upon request.

19 Wing FS&R is presenting a one day clinic
with Shel Brodsgaard.
It will be hosted at the 19 Wing Fitness and Community Centre on the PRO-D Friday, September 19th from 9:30am - 3:30pm.
The clinic will feature outdoor/indoor sessions, snacks and wind up with a swim. Shel ran a summer clinic with us in July and the evaluations from allthe participants were awesome. District Development Centre: 2010 Indoor Soccer Development Clinic

District Development Centre - Comox Valley offers a "Skills Development" clinic in the New Year. The Clinic is directed towards the U10 (Born 2000) to U12 (Born 1998) player in developing dribbling, passing, and shooting skills to develop into a high performance player.

For: Girls and Boys Ages 9-11
Time: 0900-1200: Exact session timeframe (60 minute minimum) within this time period will be determined for each individual player based on age/skill level/gender once registration is complete and gym details are finalized.
