A Year of a Select

Select soccer activities are generally organized around the following schedule:

September

• Soccer season begins in the first few weeks following Labour Day.
• U12 Academy and U13 to U18 Select teams begin play on the first or second Sunday following Labour Day.
• House League Fall season begin play the first or second Saturday following Labour Day.

October / November

• House and Select league play.
• House League Fall season finishes the last weekend of November. 

December

• Select league play generally stops the second Sunday of the month. 

January

• Select league play generally starts the first Sunday after school starts.

February

• U13-U18 Gold teams begin BC Provincial Cup playoffs. (Boys and Girls).
• U13-U18 Girls C-cup begin BC Coastal Cup playoffs. (Select and C-Cup Coastal Cups are independent competitions)
• U12 Academy teams do not compete in Cup playoffs.

March

• Island Final for BC Provincial Cup qualification (Select teams which win their UISA playoffs for BC Provincial Cup).
• U12-U18 Select league games are finished.
• UISA Island Cup tournament.*
• House League Spring season registration.
• Applications taken for Select team coaches.
• *Subject to change
• April
• BC Coastal Cup semis and final (Select teams which have won the Island Final for BC Provincial Cup qualification).
• Island Cup finals, LISA v UISA Island Cup tournament winner
• House league spring season begin play the first or second Saturday depending on Spring break and Easter.

May

• House league games.

June

• U12-U18 player assessments for next season.
• Early Registration available discounted fees available to all completed registrations.
• House League games finish.

July

• BC Provincial Cup finals for Gold teams which have won their LISA playoffs and the Island Final to qualify (see above).

August

• Assessments for new players to the club.
