It is with heavy hearts the club regrets to inform you all that our Former Director of Soccer and current Assistant Technical Lead Darrin McLeod collapsed on field last night and passed away. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family. 

We are organizing grief counselling for all of those who are affected (more info forthcoming) We are suspending operations until at least the weekend while the staff and board of directors determine a path forward. 

Since it has been asked, while we are mourning a great loss, this will not affect teams travelling to Port Alberni for the Mini World Cup. Darrin was loved and respected by all at the club and worked tirelessly to deliver the highest quality program to our Youth for decades. Over his time with us he served as a board member, coach and finally as full-time staff the past few years. 

His work was instrumental in modernizing our operations and we will have a hole in our hearts as of today. He was not just our colleague, he was our friend 💔The club will continue to provide updates as they arise. The club will band together and be there for each other.
