SPRING 2026 Valley Youth Soccer League- Recreation Program!

 Registration NOW OPEN! 

Spring Soccer registration opens on Monday, January 5th 2026 and closes Friday, March 13th, 2026. 

VYSL is a developmental soccer program, starting the first week of April (7th to the 11th) 2026, ending on June 6th. 

This program is focused on FUN and SKILLS development. 

VYSL welcomes young players with a range of skill sets from developing (beginner) to extending (experienced).

⚽Soccer Tots - U4 (born 2022) 

Soccer starts April 18th and runs to June 6th. 

There is one session per week where the little players will practice in four stations that rotate. Parents are welcome to join!

Sessions are shorter and developmentally appropriate. 

Cost: $100.00 / 7 sessions total 

(no soccer on May 16th 2026) 

⚽Bambinos - U5 (born 2021) 

There is one session per week where the little players will practice to start the session, followed by a mini scrimmage. 

Cost: $150.00 / 8 sessions

(no soccer on May 16th, 2026) 

⚽Micros to Youth- 

Micros- U6/7 (born 2019/20) 

Minis- U8/9 (born 2017/18) 

Juniors- U10/11 (born 2015/16) 

 Youth- U12/13 (born 2013/14) 

 U15+ (born 2011) 

There are two sessions per week. One "practice session" where players will practice within their divisions on an assigned team (scheduled Tuesdays to Thursdays). 

There is also one game day session per week, on Saturdays. 

Cost: $175.00 / 17 sessions (9 practices and 8 games) 

(no soccer on May 16th, 2026) 

*Spaces will be limited in some divisions, we encourage you to register early.

* Deadline register Sunday , Friday March 13th 2026 at midnight.

There will be a late charge of $25 for any players registering after this time and date.

After March 15th 2026,  fees will be increased $25/player and player will be placed only if space allows. 

A wait list will be started once divisions are full- Please see on line registration portal titled " Wait List - Spring 2026 Valley Youth Soccer League (VYSL)" and register your player if the regular program regsitration is full. 

*First time registrants must show a birth certificate or care card with proof of date of birth. 

*CVUSC Refund policy can be found on our website and reads:

All refunds issued will be less a $25 administration fee.
When a player is registered and the appropriate fees are fully paid, a refund may be granted only under the following criteria:
a) Prior to the season commencing, a refund will be issued without reason.
b) Up to and including the second week of play, refunds will be issued only for medical reasons or if the player is leaving the Comox Valley. 
c) Atter the second week of play, no refunds will be issued

Saturday game days April 11th, April 18th, April 25th, May2nd, May 9th, May 16th, May 30th, and June 6th. (No Saturday sessions on May 16th- "May Long" weekend)

The deadline to register is March 13th.  Spaces may be limited so please register early. Once divisions fill up we can only place players on teams if space allows. 

Practices: U6 through U15+ will have a weekly one hour Skill Centre practice.  If you are interested in coaching, please check the appropriate box on your registration.

Equipment: Cleats, soccer socks, shin pads and shorts are mandatory. Jerseys will be provided to all players.

Mini World Cup 2026

This two-day tournament welcomes REGISTERED VYSL players U8 to U11 to participate!!

Who: Registered ‘Valley Youth Soccer League’ players born 2015 to 2018.
Please note: Registration in our VYSL program is a mandatory prerequisite to register for Mini World Cup. If you have not yet registered for VYSL please proceed to the link in the comment section.

What: The Mini World Cup is a fun and heartwarming ISLAND event where teams are assigned countries to represent!
There is an opening ceremony ‘Parade of Nations’ kick off, and teams dress-up and represent their assigned country.

Players will play four games (usually 2 games each day, over 2 days.)
(Please see link below, but note you will register with the Comox Valley United Soccer Club.)

Where: Hosted by Mid-Isle Soccer Club in Ladysmith BC

When: Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th

Cost: There are no registration fees (zero cost) for those CVUSC members who register with our club.

Registration OPENS Monday, January 19th 2026 and placement is on a first come-first serve basis. Our CVUSC team, along with our Divisional Managers will create teams previous to the tournament date , and all players will be notified of their team following this selection.

Mid-Isle Soccer will assign teams to designated countries , and will advise CVUSC after registration closes.
