We are looking for a highly organized and proactive team member to help us manage the logistical operations for our soccer programming as the "Manager of Soccer Operations-Logistics ".

In this role, you will serve as our club's lead in various club logistical and program planning ;from booking fields, uniform/kit distribution, and leading communications with our Divisional and Team Managers.

The ideal candidate should have a strong skill -set in coordinating administrative activities, program and event planning, and efficient workflows. Our club is committed to delivering exceptional soccer programming to our communities of Courtenay, Comox, and Cumberland. We would love for you to join us!

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

Field Scheduler – book fields and assign games, working closely with the district and club referee scheduler.

Equipment /Kit Manager - team uniforms (kit) and equipment procurement and distribution.

Divisional Manager and Team Communications - relay team and league information to our Team Managers

Delegates.Criminal Record Checks and Spatzz Data Coordination- insure volunteer Criminal Record Checks and Spatzz data are recorded and submitted according to deadlines.

Field Maintenance Coordination - Schedule and work closely with subcontracted and/or volunteer field maintenance teams, along with our community venue partners.

Assist 'Director of Soccer' - support the 'Director of Soccer' and club's 'Technical Directors' when required, with planning and program development and implementation.

Budget Planning - work with our club's 'Business Operations Manager' in planning for the club's financial needs. Plan budgets while developing fiscally prudent financial systems for payables.Develop and Implement Organizational Systems - a focus and commitment to administrative efficiencies, communications and planning, as a part of a team.

Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in organizational planning and implementation. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and independently.

Proficiency in office tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace.Experience work within a sports club environment and/or a not-for-profit organization is preferred.

Experience in inventory management, procurement, and distribution is an asset.

Flexibility in schedule, for occasional events or evenings. Commitment to Saturday attendance at our clubhouse during our two (spring and fall) 8-week recreational soccer programs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A team approach to club programming and business.

Ability to multitask and to adapt to changing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail.

A professional approach to serving the club membership.A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

A clean Criminal Record Check prior to start date is mandatory.

Hours of work - 30 hour work week. Autonomy in work schedule/hybrid location. (As long as the employee is meeting the needs of the CVUSC, programs, and our membership, the employee will hold the ability to balance on-site work with work- from-home.) Compensation - $24-$26 per hour to commensurate with experience.

Three weeks holiday time annually. Club kit clothing. Monthly cell phone allowance.
